Health & Safety
At Little Feet Day Nursery, the health, safety, and well-being of every child is our top priority. We maintain the highest standards through a combination of highly trained staff, rigorous policies, and careful daily practices.
All staff members undergo a thorough recruitment and interview process before joining our team. They are paediatric first aid trained and have access to first aid equipment at all times. Our experienced educators are committed to nurturing, protecting, and supporting children throughout their day in nursery. The nursery operates with robust safety policies and procedures, which are fully accessible to parents/carers. Babies are cared for following safe sleep practices and are continuously monitored in a calm, secure environment.
Each room is equipped with CCTV, viewable only by senior staff, to ensure the protection of both children and staff.
We prioritise nutritional health, offering healthy, balanced meals for all age groups. Fruit, milk, and water are provided at snack times, and we actively promote oral hygiene with tooth brushing routines following lunch.
To further safeguard children, the nursery has an intercom system, strict collection procedures, and a dedicated lockdown protocol. Every aspect of our environment is carefully designed to ensure children are safe, secure, and well cared for at all times.
