Welcome to Little Feet. We are previously known for our Montessori-inspired family centre, where we hosted stay & play sessions, birthday parties and special events. We are now in the process of transitioning to a day nursery.
We have changed the way we run our stay & play sessions, click on the separate tab for more information on this. We will continue to run our special events on some weekends. We unfortunately no longer offer birthday parties.
Our indoor and outdoor areas have been carefully designed by qualified and experienced early years professionals.
All of our staff are qualified early years educators who hold up-to-date enhanced DBS checks, are first aid trained, and have completed an allergy awareness course.
What is Montessori?
Montessori education is child-centred where children learn by doing. It's hands-on with lots of practical activities that build on independence and confidence. Learning environments are carefully prepared with materials that inspire exploration and discovery.
Montessori refers to a philosophy and educational approach developed by Italian physician and educator Dr. Maria Montessori. Montessori is a scientifically based educational approach based on self-directed activity and hands-on learning.
